Serious question: are plusnet going to increase capacity?

Do plusnet have any intention of increasing capacity?

Whats the maximum capacity at the minute and how often is the max hit?

Serious question: are plusnet going to increase capacity?

Answering your second question is easy:

Broadband Traffic packets dropped

When there are no drops there is spare capacity, all the rest of the time it is full. So in the last 24 hours there was spare between about 7am and 8:30 pm. At all other times P2P particularly takes up all slack.

The graph I've linked is for all gateways. Some of the gateways will be better than that. See here:

Right now increasing bandwidth isn't an option for most ISPs. The cost of bandwidth is simply to expensive and there are no products available to ISP's that would come close to meeting demand. At least from BT.

I originally thought we'd see new bandwidth come the BT wholesale price reductions due this April. However its looking more and more like most ISPs are going to wait until next year when the newer 21CN products from BT come along offering more bandwidth.
