Rotherham/Sheffield!

Just had a massive thunder storm here and its raining cats and dogs its slowed my connection right down to 1 meg !!!

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm must be the thunder is MAX affected by thunder and lightening?

Yup,

Sneezing or just generally breathing has also been known to affect it. Seriously, any form of electrical interference will adversly affect MAX because it really is pushing the limit of your phone line.

The problem you may now find is that your maximum stable rate will have adjusted to your new sync rate. This will limit your speed to the internet regardless of sync. IF your lucky, something called "blip logic" will restore your maximum stable rate to its previous glory... More likely, you will spend 3 days at a lower internet speed before the exhange recognises your new maximum stable rate.
