Reverse DNS woes..

Hi

Nearly a month ago, I asked for my reverse DNS record to be adjusted to our main server (for mailserver compatability etc). Since we are on a business account and have a static IP, this should be no problem, correct?

I have now asked twice (and actually just again, a 3rd time) for this to be actioned and still the record has not been set and still points to our .plus.com address. I have waited more than 72 hours in each case before replying to the support ticket. Both times so far, support has replied saying the record has been changed and will take effect within 24hrs. It clearly hasn't!

Is there any technical reason why this is taking so long, especially when they say it's been done?

Regards

Reverse DNS woes..

I had that problem the last time when the script has failed. Although, at the moment, some custom rDNS has gone anyway.

Reverse DNS woes..

There's already a problem open on it... although I can't think of any other times my rDNS has gone wonky in the last year.
