Real speed problems is it just me?

I have had really poor speeds for the last few days.

I have re-booted my router a few times and have noticed some changes from one gateway to the next but tonight is shear painful.

I know of the issues with pte-agn1 but are there issues with the tohers as well. My second set of results are from the affected server does this indicate that it's still broke?

Are other people finding webpages are taking an age to show?

Not according to the Comms team 4 days ago.

From the thread:
Speeds are absolutely shocking

Can you raise a ticket?

Im having the same problem still from way before christmas!
Also DNS problems have been rebooting my modem everyday they say 3 days and it should change but it hasn't. Bt report that my profile is on 4500kbps PN has had it set on 3000kbps for over 2 weeks now and only had speed of below 3mb.

I noticed this im on pte ag1- and raised a question to the csc.no matter when i reboot speeds are terrible. Interstingly all the speedtests are fine (ellacoya being selective?) but real world performance is shocking. Both peak and offpeak usenet less than 512 where previously 2.7

http was dreadfully slow images loading like the good ole days of dialup. and ftp is not worth the mention.

I must say thanks to the prompt reply from csc, who hadnt read my ticket, i stated the connection was painfully slow even though bt speedtest showed max speed at 2.8 yet browsing was worse than dialup. Not i thought 2.8m was painfully slow!!!! why dont they read the tickets properley!!!

Hi guys,

ptn-ag1 and pte-ag1 are looking pretty full at the moment, Phil's looking into this shortly as ptn-ag2 is undersubscribed at the moment for some reason.

There was a problem with connections to ag1 last week, and after contacting BT they pointed more users to ag1 to fill it up, but overall both should be pretty equal.

As such, if you can get onto ptn-ag2 you should see fantastic speeds.

I'll let you know as soon as we have more info.
