Re these figures good?

just been upgraded to maxdsl and my usb modem is reporting that is conecting at 7.6MB

ReceiveAttenuation_dB= 8
ReceiveMargin_dB= 9

SendAttenuation_dB= 3
SendMargin_dB= 18

does the above mean anything to anyone?

Yes, those are the main characteristics of your ADSL connection, as its these that BT use to determine what speed your line can support in a stable fashion. If you're seeing those figures whilst synching at 7.6mbps then it would suggest that your line should be fairly stable, though the only real test for this is to have it running for a while and see what happens to it over time.
