Raise a ticket

Hey,
Sorry if i'm missing something here but i was just about to raise ticket via contact us on the plus net site and every time i clikced on to a report a speed problem (as having problems in the evenings and very high gaming pings) it says "i accept there may be an admin charge".. now do i have to pay to report a problem?

afaik - if your problem is BT's fault (and therefor not Plusnet's) BT will charge Plusnet for sending an engineer out to check the line. This cost is forwarded onto you.

No, as long as all the diagnostics are done and you answer all the questions we ask you will not be charged.

BT make that charge if your equipment or something else that is not under their control is the cause of the fault.

Anything else other than this lot i should try?
Tried changing filters etc and using hard wire from router instead of wireless.

Operation Data Upstream Downstream

Noise Margin 29 dB 11.5 dB
Output Power 12 dBm 19 dBm
Attenuation 31 dB 44 dB

Ok how about these? though they seem to be wildly variable.
I know i have to raise a ticket but am wondering if anyone has a clue as to why my connection keeps dropping? no loss of sync acocrding to my router and wireless signal is strong. Speed tests are spotty thoghseems BT is ok and other speed testers say im very slow.
