I have just noticed that if I have a few mailboxes on my plus account as well as the default mailbox. If someone emails a mailbox that doesn't exist on the account then it forwards the email onto the default mailbox.
Is there any way to switch this off so it bounces any email back that is sent to an unknown mailbox?
Its not a huge issue but I thought I would ask to see if this could be done.
You cannot set it to bounce, as this would just add to the problem of SPAM, but you can set it to be silently deleted. Just raise a ticket, there is a path through the link:contact us wizard that explains what needs to be done.
