Price confusion

Hi

I recently downgraded from 2mb Premier to Lite, as I realised I wasn't downloading nearly enough to justify the 40 quid a month.

I now notice that the Premier products have effectively been 'capped' and the prices cut (according to this forum, FAQs and Adslguide). However I also notice that the prices on the PlusNet website haven't changed for the Premier product.

Am I missing something? Are the price cuts only available to *existing* Premier customers? If that's the case, it looks like I've jumped to a Lite product that now costs more than the lost Premier variant! Very odd pricing policy if that's the case.

Can anyone shed any light (or even lite) on this?

Thanks

David

Price confusion

Hi,

Basically, all users will be upgraded at request to the highest speed their line will support. The prices are for bandwidth, not speed. You may want to read here: http://portal.plus.net/features/usage_guide.shtml

Can you just clear up the following from your reply above.
Will we have to ask for the upgrade or will it be automatic.
If we have to ask as the above seems to say, when will we know its available.
