Me too. PlusNet decided to start blocking ports without telling me.

I seen it on the Usertools but for the Life of me I cannot find it.

The two postings in question are

THIS explaining what is being blocked and what was already blocked

THIS showing they are (and now have) been removed from premier

There was a problem where some customers experianced some of the blocks continueing, which I also believe will be corrected by now.

On Premier accounts we only block the following:

135
445
1434

On other accounts these ports are also blocked:

137 (TCP/UDP)
139 (TCP/UDP)
12345 (TCP)
1026 - 1029 (UDP)
1023 - 1028 (TCP)

Thanks Ben for your reply,

Then can you please explain why my firewall is blocking attacks on these ports you have listed.
I am just curious...good job its a good firewall Wink
I am a premier customer.

Do you mean the first 3 ports listed?

This is casued by the inability to block connections between customers connected to the same Juniper gateway.

Customers on different gateways or external internet connections are blocked.

IE: 2 customers on PTN-AG1 can connect, but 1 on PTN-AG1 & 1 on PTN-AG2 will fail.
