I think it would suffice to say that The Register is great source of info on the state of various aspects of IT in general, but they have a very specific style, which is best experienced rather than described.

I don't, however, think it would be unfair to compare them to The News Of The World.

Not often anything that is said is wrong, but they do have an amusing, albeit cynical, view on most things.

Yep - they do have a bit of a tabliod-esque style about them - but unlike those rags (which of course have a reputation of at best construing the truth, and making it up otherwise), personally I've yet to read anything (about PlusNet at least) which I feel would fit into that category.

That's probably because they base the majority of their information from the mailing list over at Usertools!

They do speak with Brian, our Marketing Manager, quite a bit too.
