Plusnet Broadband service is a total waste of money, I find that every day after 4pm the service is unusable with constant disconnects and flashing adsl lights, the service works perfect 01am till 8am, slows down till 4pm then locks and disconnects all the time, this happens every day for the last 3 months,
If the actual ADSL line is disconnecting, then what you're describing is most strange, and sounds like a potential fault rather than just a bad service.
Are you losing the connection altogether? Are you losing 'sync' with the exchange? If so, we can raise that to BT after ruling our things like your internal wiring etc... To do that, please run the Broadband Fault Checker at http://faults.plus.net
Which of our broadband products are you on, and what is your usage history like for the past few months? (You can see this using "View My Usage" under 'Connection Settings'. You could be hitting our 'peak-time management' if you're only seeing slowdowns between 4pm - midnight?
I'd like for us to get to the bottom of this, together.
