PTE-AG2 What happened at 23:00 tonight Jan/10th

Something happened at 23:00 tonight on somewhere on the PN network, I got disconnected from a game at that time, I went back to gaming and did some speedtests and everything was flying along ....

Anyone else get affected ?

My internet connection slowed to a crawl at about that time although I wasn't disconnected.

I am still getting ridiculously slow downloads.

To be clear, I was disconnected from a game rather than loosing the ADSL/PPP connection according to my router logs.

Nothing obvious showing on any of the graphs, network's starting to get quieter as it normally does as people log off. Could have been something exchange side, had an MSO in my area the other day causing really slow speeds, but just came back to normal after a couple of hours.

Looking closely at the graphs over at http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/broadband_packets_drop.shtml?supporta=networkpbroadb...

on pte-ag2, it seems that whatever happens on all the other gateways at 12 midnight that affects bronze packets, seemed to start earlier on pte-ag2 ... is the clock wrong on ag2? Wink

Or alternatively, a number of people scheduling usage started a bit earlier than usual Wink
