PAYG free offpeak usage

I have just seen the announcement that up/download traffic will not count towards the monthly allowance for PAYG accounts during the off peak period.

I am on the old 'PlusNet Broadband Home Lite 512k - Original with included 1GB bandwidth' product, which is basically PAYG. Does this free traffic apply to me and if so when does this new rule kick in?

Yes, your account will be covered by this, as it is indeed essentially the PayG account. It'll come into effect on your first billing date after the 30th of March.

Great!

I take it that this means that all the other upgrades (8Mb as and when available, etc.) will also apply to these old accounts?

Yes, those accounts that have a direct comparrison should be handled in the same way as their current equivelants. Though the Home Surf and Easystart accounts are going to be handled a little differently.
