PAYG Speed Question -- still maxed?

Hi, I switched from Premier option 1 to PAYG a few weeks back, as surfing certain sites at peak times was diabolical. At non-peak times, I could get download speeds between 3-4 mbps.

Since switching to PAYG, surfing at peak times is much better, but after doing several speed tests, I only average between 1.5 and 2 mbps. It's as if I nolonger have ADSL MAX!

Any ideas?

Ta.

PN may not have updated your profile, which apparently resets to 2000, when you move to PAYG. I am sure someone will pick it up for you.

Check what https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed says. If this says 2000 and you ring up or raise a ticket asking for your stable rate to be corrected it should be fixed in minutes. Don't take any baloney about it happening automatically - for some people it doesn't and needs manual intervention.

Thanks for the info. I've definitely been dropped down to 2000! I've raised a ticket.

PAYG Speed Question -- still maxed?

Hi,

I've changed the speed profile back for you, you might need to disconnect and reconnect for the change to take effect.
