PAYG: Do you think performance is OK?

This poll is intended for PAYG users only

After we made some changes on Monday the 11th we believe that we have resolved the Business and PAYG performance issues.

Are you finding that performance, particularly in the evenings has returned to the levels before November?

PAYG: Do you think performance is OK?

NOPE - see my previous posts... haven't had a speedtest above 1500 for a good while now - synching at 6500+ on a stable rate of 8000.

Don't understand how Bob can make blanket statements like "everythings fine now" when it patently isn't for some.

My speeds have been drastically reduced since November 28:

Bt test:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 1000 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 4928 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 928 kbps

Reading took this morning, off peak, PAYG account and my exchange is green.

According to james bailey I should have been put on a higher BT profile after three days of stability.

I notice that a lot of people are now using the Derby server for speed tests.
I have found that server to be awfully slow and get very much better results using the London one.

It's worth trying that as a comparison before you post reults on here.

PAYG: Do you think performance is OK?

Seeing as the traffic has to go to London first, there is very little logic in using the Derby one.

I get the same reading using the London server.

Come on folks, only post here if you are on PAYG and your speeds are much lower or vary wildly from the value PN have you limited to as stated here.

Your High-speed Broadband Service

Your current broadband speed is 5000 Kbps

Would you say that was wide of the mark?

The latest Delta Report that we have received from BT seems to suggest you have sync'd at 1152 down / 448up.

What are your current sync stats? Your being profiled by BT at the mo by the looks of it.

Would those states indicate that BT have me profiled Liam? If so how do I get back to where I was a week or so ago?
