Oi, Support!

Why have you changed the service status connectivity light to green?

Switch it back to yellow, you haven't fixed the problem yet!

RE: Oi, Support!

I'm confused, on another thread support tell us that the random connectvity drop outs will be fixed to night /tomrrow morning depdending on your point of view, yet they have stoped monitoring the problem and server status is back to green!? What gives, i'm sure Net OP can keep bigborther yellow for a while longer till it gets fixed properly

Hi Christine,

We are not ignoring this issue and as stated in our Service Status pages, we regard this matter as very important. We will continue to work on this issue until we have found a permanent resolution.

Dave

Hi David!

I didn't mean to suggest that you had stopped working on the problem just because the light had been switched to green.

My concern is: why is the light switched to green when the problem is still present?

I'm aware that a light flicked over from yellow to green isn't the most important thing in the world, but still - in the interests of maintaining your "open & honest" relationship with your customers - I think it would be best to not have service status lying, which it is technically doing Smiley

Absolutely. The Service Status should reflect what the position is at the point in time at which the page is updated, not what's expected/hoped to be the case at some time in the future.

RE: Oi, Support!

Hello again Christine,

The Service Status has been changed back to 'amber'. Please keep an eye on the portal for further updates.

Dave
