Depends on the package and the torrents.
On BB+ it is always very slow.
On premier you can get 220 -230k on a 2Mb line off peak with the wind behind you, though the throttler keeps bringing it down and it has to build up again every so often. So the average will be below 200k even off peak.
At peak times, who knows? Certainly a lot less.

Hi,

I have PlusNet Premier and a 2MB Line, yet when I download torrents i rarely get more the 40KB/s d/l rate, usually around 4-20KB/s! It doesnt matter whether its peak or off-peak, i get the same rates..... I did a test using the same torrent and software on my friends computer who uses BT Broadband....he got rates of 200KB/s!!!!!!! i got only 15KB/sHuh? WHYHuh can someone help?

whatever turns you on - personally I found it very dull and boring full of what ifs and maybes. Certainly not very to the point and simply a wander around the houses trying to defend/excuse the indefensible behaviour of what was once an excellent isp.
