Have there been any recent changes to how Plusnet provides DNS?, like in the last month. Twice I've had to reset my router (D-Link G604T) because the computer stopped resolving names.
FWIW I don't think the PN DNS actually stopped, on one occasion I put the PN DNS settings in manually to bypass the router and it got through, but since the router's been fine previously to this I wondered if anything had changed at PN's end?
There's been no changes with the DNS servers themselves. Though we have had some instances where customers have been assigned temporary servers from BT Wholesale which have caused DNS resolution issues, the most common of which is people seeing the BT Wholesale page. The best thing to do is simply assign two of our DNS servers manually on your machine, bypassing the need for them to be picked up each time you reconnect.
