Not getting the speeds I should

A common result from BT speed tester recently looks like this

IP profile for your line is - 3500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 4064 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 944 kbps

When I click on Connection settyings - Your High-speed Broadband Service. It is set at 1000kbps.

Why is this not set at 3500kbps instead of 1000kbps?

Not getting the speeds I should

Hi there,

Slight change at this end and your speeds should be incresed.

Looks like when we placed your order to move you to Max, the provisioned product at our end was still set to 1M. I've updated this to Max now and your profile at this end has gone up to 3500.

If you give your modem or router a reboot you should notice an increase.

Cheers,
Liam
