No connection for a whole day

For the fourth time in as many months, I had no connection at all yesterday. As on previous occasions, it was a Sundsy. Am I alone?

If you mean, will plusnet help you? I wouldn't bank on it.

That said, my initial feeling is that it is a problem with the line/BT -- but of course, you have to raise the problem with PN first...yada yada yada. Good luck.

No I have had this problem on and off since June ish last year.

Hi,

That's an odd one. I think the first thing to do is just to ask a couple of questions. When you say youhad no connection do you know what kind of problem it was? For example did the modem/router lose sync (usually indicated by a flashing ADSL light)? Did you get any kind of error message when you tried to connect? Was it at a specific time of day or did you at several different times during the day?

There's been a couple of major outages that would have affected your exchange in the last 2 weeks, but neither on a Sunday.

What are the symptoms of no connection?
Can you sync with the exchange?
Are u having problems getting an IP address? (authentication)
What are u using to connect? (Voyager USB, router, etc)
Whats your sync speed?

If you can isolate the problem, u may have more joy with CSC
