Monthly contract cancellation fee

Hi,

I am on Premier Up to 2Meg, Monthly Contract.

I paid £11.75 one off payment.
In my Account details I have writen that I have to pay £47 if I want to cancell my contract.

Is it all right?

I thought as I am on montly contract and paid £11.75 it will be less than £47 so I am not shure about this amount. It looks to high!!!

Can anyone give some advice.

Cheers

Monthly contract cancellation fee

i Assume you took defered activation so you will have to pay back the money +net pay to BT to activate you line the £11.75 just prevents you having to pay off the rest of a 12 month contract .

Yes it is Defered Activation, but it was Free Activation when I looked to sign the Contract. If they are saying it is Free, it should be free or Clearly explain before you sign in, how much you will pay after cancellation.
But this was nowhere to find!

I think pottential customers should know before they sign in what are the hidden fees behind ''Free'' activation!

But as I am reading a lot about current poblems with+net, this is normal for them to deal with customers.

Hi,

A page detailing the defered payment system is linked to, from the product description page on each of the Broadband product pages.
