Migration to plusnet

My friend is asking about migrating to plusnet, and he's said that he would have to pay a £15 migration fee, is this correct.

He is currently on the 1mb ADSL product with fast24, and would probably migrate over onto one of the premier accounts.

Would he have to pay a migration charge for that?

Migration to plusnet

No migration fee is payable unless they leave within 12 months of joining.

In effect, the migration fee is deferred when you first joinn then cancelled after 12 month.

Details here.

so I'm also assuming there is no connection charge either? like there is with a new customer?

At the end of the 12 month, is the migration fee removed from the account? or is it still payable when the customer leaves?

The connection charge is only for people who do not currently have broadband, it is not payable for migrating between ISPs.

After 12 months, the migration fee is no longer payable if you leave.
