I requested the MAC Key two days ago and PlusNet provided it very quickly and I duly passed it onto the other ISP. Who then told me that the order has been rejected by BT as they say that the telephone number does not match up with the supplied MAC code.
The other ISP says they cannot pursue the matter because it is between PlusNet and BT.
PlusNet say they cannot pursue the matter any further & the other ISP will have to chase it. Either that a wait a month for a new MAC Key to be generated when I’m certain exactly the same thing will happen again.
Anyone know how I can get this resolved as I'm stuck here with no usable Usenet otherwise? I'd love to call BT myself to sort it out but I don't have any contact details.
