Migration Query

I am about to migrate in an account from Demon. I just wanted to know, Once the migration process is complete, am I able to upgrade to 2Mb Lite @ 14.99 and then in April upgrade again to the 22Gb 21.99 package?

I know there is a limit to the amount of upgrades that can be performed in one month, just wanted to know how this would work out. I could just migrate into 512k Premier now @ 21.99 and wait for the free upgrade, but if I can get it sooner, then I could just upgrade onto 2Mb and then switch to the 22Gb package.

Do you know what I mean?

Thanks,
Liam

First, £21.99 will give you 30GB fair usage not 22GB - 22GB is for the homesurf account (£18.99) which only existing homesurf users can use.

Second, in April, you would be downgrading to £21.99 as the current 2Mb product costs £39.99. As you are downgrading it will cost £14.99.

So you can upgrade now if you want but it will cost a total of £30 (15 for speed upgrade to 2Mb, 15 for account downgrade to 21.99 in April). If you stay on £21.99 and wait for the free speed upgrade it will cost nothing, but you will be on 512K for as long as it takes for the free spped upgrade to occur, which may not be until June.

Sorry, I did mean 30Gb Shockedops:

But 2Mb Lite upto 2Mb Premier (with FUP @ 21.99) wouldn't be a downgrade would it?

Correct, I missed the Lite bit, so we are even on the Shockedops:

Thats just what I intend to do, go from 2Mb 5G lite to the Premier 30G. Loads more G's for just an extra £1
I reckon this will be PlusNets most popular product by a mile.
I won't even care if there will be cheaper options from other ISP's, it's not worth losing a reliable service for the sake of a £ or two
