Mail Aliases point to multiple mailboxes

Is it possible to have an alias (or redirect) that will put an email into two separate mailboxes?

I want to be able to receive email sent to flurble@<domain> and have it deposited into two mailboxes.

Nope, it's a one to one alias or redirect on PlusNet.

Your email client may be able to do this using rules but will involve it always receiving the email from one mailbox then auto-forwarding a copy elsewhere.

Here's my solution:

I'm using fetchmail on a Linux machine. Set up a new mailbox called joint. Redirect all the aliases you want duplicated to this new mailbox.

Set up fetchmail to collect mail from the jiont mailbox. Make sure to include "keep" somewhere in the stanza. Now add it again, this time sending the mail to a different user. Make the user that is last in the list havd "nokeep" as an option to empty the mailbox after everyone has a copy.

I realise this is less than perfect as it downloads a new copy for each person, but it's the best I can come up with in 10 minutes before I go away until the weekend!
