Lost sync

Hi all

I have an open question with PN on this but they have not answered since tuesday.

I was having the LLU disconnections, they say this is fix, but I now loss sync, yesturday I lost sync over 1200 times. Can you tell me what is most likely problem of this is?

It just one problem after an other, which me I can not use the connection, it been too long.

This is the only way to get things done.

Thanks for the help.

You may aswell give up if you are waiting for plusnet to awnser an open ticket, a few years ago they bragged about average response time to a ticket was 3 to 6 hrs. laugh

Its now about 1 to 2 weeks. If its not an automated response you have no chance.

Anyway , with your loss of sync problem, you need to post your line stats taken from your router.line atten up/down & your SNR readings in dB

I assume the loss of sync results in a disconnect, if so thats a hell of a lot of errors to recieve in a day.

If your SNR is below 6 dB it may explain the loss of signal.

Sorry for the late reply PN change my line setting of saturay, which as helped.

My SNR for download was down to 2db.

They changed my settings to

Down Up
Connection Speed 2307 kbps 263 kbps
Line Attenuation 58 db 18 db
Noise Margin 15 db 24 db

From
Down Up
Connection Speed 3615 kbps 576 kbps
Line Attenuation 59 db 18 db
Noise Margin 2 db 12 db

Thanks for the info.
