Lost email proof

Plus support see ticket 19442339

I sent an email from an external accont to one of my Plus POP accounts on the 16th May. Sunday 21st received a TIMEOUT from Mailer-Daemon@pih-mxcore11.plus.net advising localhost error.

I posted question to customer support who advised a local host error is on my PC and perhaps I am using webmail bla bla. OK so the sender in this case hapens to me sending to my wife and therefore I know I sent it but had I not told her I received an error response it would have been LOST as far as she is concerned. Happens that I use a different email system than PLUS.

I have pasted the headers and message response for those to look over but inicates to me the problems are not over and wish they read the problem ticket thoroughly!

Lost email proof

Hi,

I'm not sure I'd class this as lost, I'd agree that there was a problem and this shouldn't have happened (and from the looks of things the problems on the mail platform look to be pretty much resolved), but the system has done what it should in the event of being unable to deliver the message in bouncing the mail back to you.

I will speak to the network guys again tomorrow and will ask them about this though.
