Latency again,

I'm getting horrid pings in BF2 tonight,so I pinged the portal and I'm getting hefty pings here too.

Anyone else?

Please.

Latency again,

No, not being shaped,just there's a problem.

It's defo pte-ag1 causing the probs.

Let's hope someone's on it.

Latency again,

Its more than just one of the gateways.

ptn-ag1
pte-ag1
ptn-ag2

Have all shown issues since shortly after 7pm.

On my home account at the moment things are fairly normal.

This thread on AG has the details.

Latency again,

Pings went nuts for me too last night - until I rebooted my router and then everything was fine. Unfortunately I didn't make a note of the gateways involved, but at least one of the works! Wink

Latency again,

Thanks Mark,

But I ain't wading through another 20 page posting of BB+ whingers just for back-up Cheesy

Fact is the latency was horrible, and it has been before. Then it was put down to port numbers and the ellacoyas and automation and invaders from the nether regions.Yesterday it took me ages to even find the network and log on,which may have been a BT central pipe failing, and the latency might have been also due to emergency measures taken at this time.I don't know,I'm guessing. That's why I posted up, to see if anyone knew what was happening/happened.

I'm hooked up through ptn-ag1 today and am back down to 20ms.

Just another wind up. :?
