Large number of corrected blocks - is this a problem?

Although my router maintains a stable 1Mb connection, it reports a large number of 'corrected' blocks as below

TX Blocks = 41445747
RX Blocks = 41445540

Corrected Blocks = 349347
Uncorrected Blocks = 15870

Never really lokked at this before - does it imply a problem?

Large number of corrected blocks - is this a problem?

Hi,

Corrected blocks in itself doesn't imply a problem. It's likely that interleaving is kicking in and doing its job correctly, that is correcting errors in the data.

The line's probably operating at the limits of what it can support and noise spikes are causing errors in the data which the interleaving is there to correct.
