LLU to BT

I was supposed to be moved from Tiscali's LLU service to the BT ADSL Max by yesterday. Do Plusnet send out an email when this is complete? How do I tell when it's all done?

The original ticket was closed with an expected completion date of 30/11/06 but I've heard nothing since. I take it everything went fine and I'm on the 10 day speed and stability test.

There's two ways to tell if you are on BT or Tiscali.

1. Go to http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway If it says ptn-ag1, ptn-ag2, pte-ag1 or pte-ag2 you are on BT. If you are still on LLU it says so.

2. Try the test logins:

BT Test Login details are.......

Username: bt_test@startup_domain
Password: (none needed.........leave blank)

Tiscali Test Login details are...........

Username: testing@dslconnect.co.uk
Password: testing

Try BT one 1st, and if it doesnt log you on, then try the Tiscali one. You will know by which one works, as to what you are on.

Actually, I just had another idea. Assuming you are talking about the daveshillitoe account:

>tracert daveshillitoe.plus.com

Tracing route to daveshillitoe.plus.com [84.92.244.124]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms dg834 [192.168.0.1]
2 13 ms 12 ms 15 ms lo0-plusnet.ptn-ag2.plus.net [195.166.128.53]
3 14 ms 12 ms 11 ms ge1-0-0-204.ptn-gw1.plus.net [84.92.3.105]
4 12 ms 13 ms 25 ms gi1-0-103.ptn-ag1.plus.net [84.92.3.19]

I think you are on ptn-ag1 Smiley

According to BT, this order has completed and I've noted this on your account.

You should now be connected back on the BT platform.

Cheers Liam.

All sorted. The router's showing my speeds have doubled since switching back - hopefully they'll stay stable too.
