Is the email fixed at last ?? - how would we know ??!

HI All

I've just had the delivery of a test email - from myself to myself - which started its happy little journey waay back on Wednesday at 5:23pm.

Bearing in mind it's now Saturday, and that 'snail mail' would have been quicker by a couple of days....
does the enventual appearance of this one-line test email suggest that things have been fixed - or do we expect little dribbles of delayed email for the next week or so....

Like many others, I've also had a sprinking of 'empty' emails - Lord only knows what information might have been in there before plusnet stripped the guts out of them.

I know it's picky of me to keep asking - but I know of at least one email message to me that was bounced back to the sender as 'undeliverable' - and when you're in the middle of selling a house and moving abroad, you kind of hope that your ISP might be able to manage 'the little things' like delivering email for you.....

In case anybody else is thinking about alternative ways of collecting email - I'm happy to report that googlemail is currently working perfectly, under XP has an 'automatic check / notify' thingy that lets you know when email has arrived, and is happily handling email from my various domains.
What's better - it's FREE !! - and the web interface is 100 times faster than plusnet's crapulous portal - and easier to use...

...and before anybody says 'so why are you still with plusnet ?' - than answer is that I've asked Customer Services to cancel my subscription - and, in the words of the old Diana Ross song.... "I'm still waiting....."

Headers from the delayed email below - in case anybody gives a whatnot !

Adrian
