Interleaving

I recently raised a ticket to get interleaving turned off

PN/BT turned Interleaving off in a matter of days and everything was fine

BUT

Its now back on !!!

I now have a new option in ‘connection settings' to select if I have interleaving off or on.

Great but why did you turn it back on when I raised a ticket to get it turned off?

I had to agree in writing that I would pay a fee to have it turned back on

As its now back on. Have I been charged?

Perhaps someone from PN would like to elaborate

Modem reports 7616 sync
(PN broadband speed set at 6500)
Noise margin 10.5dB down, 6.5dB up
Attenuation 22dB down, 11dB up

Interleaving

Hi,

BT can switch interleaving back on at any time if the automated systems think the line has become unstable. Chances are at some point after it was switched off the line was seen to be unstable and so was switched back on automatically.

If you raise another ticket we should be able to switch it off again, there wouldn't be any charge.
