How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

I see that the new SPAM solution is now live but I can't figure out how to access my 'SPAM' folder. Should I be able to to see this when I log on to Webmail?

Thanks - Bob

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

I was wondering the same. Only unmarked spam downloaded this morning so logged into webmail and no sign of spam there either.

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

A couple of things:

First make sure you have set your Spam filter to On > Mark & Move.

If and when you do receive a message marked as [-SPAM-] this will auto-create a folder in Webmail called Spam which should be visible on the left-hand pane.

If it is Spam you can leave it there or delete it. If not, you can move it back to your Inbox.

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

So the SPAM folder is only created when I receive a [-SPAM-] tagged e-mail?

This can't be the case. I receive about 20 spams overnight, and I have only received one today. More importantly I am waiting for an email which was sent overnight and I can't find it. Where is the xxx spam folder, because I can't see it!

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

Me too. I've set spam filter 'ON' (mark & move) but all the spam (detected & undetected) is still being delivered to my inbox.

Is there some kind of lead-time or notice period required, before the spam folder becomes effective?

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

In webmail you need to go into folders and select the folder Spam and subscribe to it. Then refresh folders

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

Hi there,

It should be visible around 30 minutes after activating the 'Mark and move' option.

Thanks for that @hotlane - working now.

Mand - you need to get this message out to other users.

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

Mine is set like that already, from when we could subscribe to it last week from the portal, but there's no Spam folder visible.

Do I have to reset it?

P.S. Have now reset it and got a message that looks very like the one I got on the portal last week. I'll give it 30 mins and see if anything happens.

I suspect that they will still have to subscribe to the folder as described by holtlane

I'm confused :?

'Mark and move' was enabled by default when I logged on this morning so I assume that part is ok.

With regard to subscribing to the folder, how do I do this? I have no SPAM folder in Webmail to subscribe to Sad

How Do I Access The New SPAM Folder?

Just had the following Service Status email:

"Service: Email

Subject: Incoming Mail Delays - NEW

We currently have high queues on some of our mail collection servers. This is due to a problem with our ClamSpam scanning system which occured overnight, and has now been fully resolved.

There will be no delays on new incoming mail, however it is likely to take until early afternoon for the volume of mail queued to be delivered to customer mailboxes. As a result emails sent to customers since approximately 3am may be delayed."

This might be why we're not seeing the spam and it hasn't reached our new Spam folders (so they don't appear yet)!
