Has F9 got a time machine?

On entering the forums today I get the following at the top of the page:

You last visited on 22 Jul 2004 04:49 pm
The time now is 24 Jul 2004 03:02 pm

(t's now 1220 on 20th Jul and a response I posted an hour or so ago is shown as being posted at 2pm and some minutes on the 24th! :?:

To correct this issue, you need to visit your profile, using your link at the top of the forum pages and set it to GMT + 1.

Colin,

Thanks for the tip. That sorted it (although I'm not sure why the original setting of GMT+12hrs showed a 4 day difference!).

Has F9 got a time machine?

Hi Colin,

We had a problem a while back, when you would have first visited the forum which set the timezone incorrectly. It was sorted a while ago but it wasn't possible to change everyone's individual profile.

Dave,

That confused me initially... I didn't notice the OPs name was Colin

Surely it was perfectly possible to change them; it only requires one SQL statement to be executed - it may not have been entirely practical though...
