I have little cause to call Customer Support but when i have they have always been polite and knowledgeable and quick to sort out any problems I have.

I posted a similar message mid-last year.

I, too, received no replies.

I suppose it just proves that most people come here with problems and issues to vent rather than for praise.

Just so you don't feel left out "mjm59" I have had very few problems with customer support.I certainly cannot complain about their performance late last year at solving my loss of connection problems.Don't know the excact date off hand but at 1335hrs I posted a ticket/question regarding my frequent disconnection 0124hrs the following morning my connection dropped and a minute or so later I was back on a fixed 2Meg connection as that was deemed as being my best option.But between those times Plusnet had tested my line BT had tested my line.So in 12 hours or there abouts my problem was solved and ticket/question closed.I must add since then I have only had 1 disconnection.

Yes the Comms team are always excellent and the reason I stick around through the good and bad times. Customer Support team is also always very good.

I made an observation around 6 months ago that was incorrect. I said most people who visit the forums are happy. This was probably the case 18 months ago and certainly true when I joined as the forums had a really community feel with a lot of friendly banter and people helping each other out. Seemed to be a case of many people were learning about the Internet and broadband together at the time though. So everyone has a common cause and that helped everyone bind as a community.
Now the forums are often used as an overflow when the phone lines back up or the ticket system is overwhelmed. Not that this is a bad thing as you help a group of people at the same time if they all have a common problem.
What is bad though is you find a lot of people moaning in one spot and this leads to a very negative feel on the forums especially like they have been as they are very crowded these last 6 months.

Great Customer Support

After three months of rubbish last year when I was switched to max dsl, I now have a fast reliable service and although I could get free broadband from Talktalk I am reluctant to move. I had to call support recently and gort an answer within seconds Smiley

Great Customer Support

I have been with Plus Net since they took over Force9 and over the years I have had a few problems, not many, but a few. In every case I found the support people were helpful and efficient. Getting through on the phone sometimes took a while, but then thats is always going to be the case with any help desk.

I have to say I have been really happy with Plus Net, their pricing, their service and their support. I just hope the new owners don't muck it up.

Yup, my four penneth is that CS has been very helpful on the few occasions I've had to use them. Also, full marks for recent improvements.
