Getting booted from servers due to ping

This is a joke. I don't download torrents, I rarely even download, I play CS and DoD, yet somehow I am provided with this joke of a connection from PN. I can't stay in a server, because if your ping is over 120-150 they boot you automatically. I average a ping now of 180-200, when it should be in the 30-40's. 180 ping!!! I got better of my old dialup connection. Here is an output from ping and tracert.

Getting booted from servers due to ping

Open a command prompt, then type:
 ping www.server.com

where www.server.com is the name of the server you want to test against.

To run a traceroute, use the tracert command followed by the server name.

What gateways are you going through?

Can you all post in some traceroutes?

Getting booted from servers due to ping

Mine is in my post.
Better way to run command line tools is to output them to a text file (for easy cut and paste) by using the '>' symbol. Example.

ping www.google.com > c:\pinggoogle.txt
tracert www.google.com > c:\tracegoogle.txt

Getting booted from servers due to ping

Guys i have been having this problem for a week or two now just trying to get all the info together as i dont want to get charged for invesitgation.

How do you know which server to type in ? i just click servers on CC:S and look down the list... start off ok with pings from 20-30 but then they jump up and i get kicked... cant play from 4:30-10pm usually as the pings are high, 2/300 up to the 1000's.
Net is still up and i can surf.

Please tell me what to type in tonight so i can run some ping tests (i only connect to UK servers)

Might I recommend you ping plus.net, instead of plusnet.com, which is a USA based server, so will be laggy anyway.
