Forum Access conundrum

Have a look at this thread on the AG Forum.

The customer has been cut off because the Direct Debit has failed .... for whatever reason.

The Telephone queue is > 1 Hour;
The customer has raised a Ticket but it is not being answered;
The Customer's access to this forum is blocked until the account has been restored!

Can you understand why the customer is angry?

The username of the account won't have been banned from these forums.
It's more than likely that Plusnet have removed internet access because of non payment but it will still be possible to log on to the portal or forums from another internet connection.
Thus having the ability to post here or indeed raise a ticket.

Hi John,

You are probably right that the user is not blocked but cannot reach the forum herself as she has no Internet access. Her Son-in-Law is trying to contact PlusNet from his non-PlusNet connection and is blocked.

However, the support mechanisms in this case are woefully inadequate and require a fundamental review at PlusNet Towers.

Hopefully, a PlusNet rep will pick it up and deal with it today.

I've had this happen even tho Plusnet have my valid visa details :roll:
I had to go thru the farce of 'paying via an alternative means '
& retyping the same credit card number to lift the restriction on my account :roll:
