Just a quick question for support.

I have just enabled fax2Email on one of you customers accounts. "glpartnership"
Is there a delay between activation and being able to use the fax number given.

I can't find any mention about time scales in the support pages?

Reason I ask is that having enabled it and been given the fax number the customer wanted to try it. But he just got engaged tone Cry

Hi John,

The number should work within an hour of requesting it (well the number should work immediately but the e-mail routing may take slightly longer to become active). I've just dialled the number from here and was answered by a fax tone. If the problem persists I'd advise raising a ticket on their account including where they're dialling from when they get the engaged tone (BT/non-BT line) and we'll get it checked out.

I'll get them to try it again tomorrow or even send them a fax myself.
I thought that there would be some delay while tthings updated but could not find any mention of it in the support pages.
If it still doesn't work tomorrow then I'll get them to raise a tickit (or do it for them)

Just to let you know that I tested the Fax2email for this firm this morning and it works fine.
You now have a very happy Business Customer who I have also got to sign up for Broadband. Cheesy
