Email problem?

Hi Folks.

Anyone else noticed a lack of email this afternoon?

I've had a couple but no-where near as many as I would expect - and know I have one sent to me some time ago that hasn't arrived yet...

Can't find the mail queue graphs any more either, have they moved?

Thanks Jelv, went to Help and Support, didn't then go to Help - wondered why most of what I expected to find wasn't there D'oh.

So no significant queues, wonder where it's stuck, SPAM filters?

There is a problem with some mail not being tagged by the spam filter;

and we've seen a few isolated instances of emails being delayed, but there are no general mail delays that I know of.

I'm experiencing problems retrieving PlusNet email and cannot login to webmail Sad

Other email accounts appear to be working fine :?

Hi Cossey,

I've replicated the problem that you've been seeing (on your default account anyway). I've tried refreshing your mail component at this end. Can you try again in ten minutes or so?

I doubt it's anything to worry about. We've recently had a problem with component add not handling certain mailboxes as it should. It's this that sends the automated emails. It was unable to 'see' your mailbox until Dave refreshed your settings. It now recognises these mailboxes exist which has triggered the sending of the emails as it thinks they're new.

It's quite usual to get those emails when your mail component is refreshed.
