Hi,
At the footer of all my email i send thur relay.plus.net
it has a advert

This message has been scanned for viruses
for virus scanning and more, please go to www.plus.net

Is there anyway of removing this?
or at least the www.plus.net bit...

There is no way to remove it. It has been asked for on many occasions but so far PN are unable to make it optional.

It is only added to incoming email to you. It does not get added when you send emails to anyone if that helps.

FWIW I thought that only happened on inbound mail, which makes the URL pointless, a simple "scanned for viruses by plusnet" would be sufficient, and wouldn't make spamcop mistakenly try to notify plusnet one time in three.

Its just advertising forced on to its customers!

I don't get that!

Actually, just realised that I haven't enabled the PN virus scan, since I have an up-to-date subs on my PC. You could disable the PN scan through the 'My Account->Services' page.

The last time I had an email scanner on a PC it sucked so bad, it even ate outbound emails without giving a failure notice, and the inbound "quarantine" system was incomprehensible.
