Email delays yet again - 9th day in a row

Contrary to what has been posted by PlusNet here and on the Service Status page, emails continue to be delayed. Some test emails I sent to myself at 10.05 have yet to be delivered at the time of writing. Surely an email I send to my plus.com address should be received pretty much instantaneously?

Could PlusNet advise what the current state of play is, please, as this situation has gone well beyond a joke?

This is showing a similar pattern to the previous 8 days, so delays are again likely to be over 3 hours by mid-afternoon.

My test emails have finally turned up and the headers show that there are delays in outgoing emails as well as incoming:

Received: from warrior.services.quay.plus.net (warrior.services.quay.plus.net [212.159.14.227])

for <destination email address>; Thu, 21 Nov 2002 11:34:19 +0000 (GMT)

by warrior.services.quay.plus.net with SMTP; 21 Nov 2002 10:05:46 -0000

I sent test emails via several different routes, and all follow the above pattern.

For anyone who needs email, the service has become very poor, and this should be an ISPs core service.

I now have to use Yahoo to ensure I receive emails that I need in a timely fashion.

I also note that outgoing email has been delayed by over an hour.

I have replied to it. It did arrive quickly, but many others continue not to:

About 30s for me, and from Yahoo, not much more either.
