I'm already sick of having had emails lost, the current email delays and having had my cgi space wiped out and not recovered because my username comes early in the alphabetical order.
We will move email according to the first two letters of each customer's username. Usernames which start with 'aa' will be the first to move, with the 'zz' users being last. We will be unable to provide exact times as to when each customer's mailboxes will be moved but aim to provide regular updates as the data is migrated.
He also talks about "a secondary Sun 5310 containing a mirrored copy of all data." (my emphasis). We've already seen what a disaster PlusNet created by using mirroring rather than a full backup so can't they please try somebody at the other end of the alphabet to try their Frankenstein-type experiments on?
