Email Fault?

I'm unable to send or receive emails!

Outgoing fault message : "The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.plus.net', Server: 'relay.plus.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

Incoming fault message : "The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.plus.net', Server: 'mail.plus.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

Is it just me?

Try a cold boot on your PC.
I have had this in the past and a reboot has cleared it Smiley

The error message shown above, is common of corrupt details in Outlook express.

Try deleting the accounts settings, and recreate them.

As for charging, you will be charged as normal. See THIS thread.

same problem with outgoing mail, don't use plus.net for incoming mail.

A time-out occurred while communicating with the server. Server: 'relay.plus.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

Have restarted PC but not connection to plus.net

Hmm, disabled Sygate personal firewall and the mail connection was fine,

So often the cause - firewalls in general i mean, not just Sygate.
