I think I'm being thick, but I don't understand the guidance for setting up another email address (for my wife). I can set up the name, but how to I configure it so that she gets her emails and I get mine and we don't get and can't see each others? Hope that makes sense. I am using Outlok and mine is the "catch all". She will be using Thunderbird.

If you create a mailbox called mary, she needs to login with peteralexander+mary and whatever password you assigned when you created it.

Thanks Peter but does that exactly answer my question? I don't want her to be able to get or see my emails and I don't want to get or see hers. Would doing what you say achieve that?

Yes. Any named mailboxes are completely separate from your default mailbox.

You can prove it by using the same login/pass details in webmail (see link top left).

Yes, what petervaughan says will achieve this.
