Easystart Question

There were three EasyStart accounts.

EasyStart 512 at £24.99 per month, this came with a USB modem. When EasyStart was first launched it was £27.99 per month.
EasyStart 1Mbs at £39.99 per month, this was only available an upgrade from the original EasyStart account.
EasyStart 1Mbs at £44.99 per month, this came with a router.

The EasyStart 512 accounts are treated the same as the up to 2Mbps Premier, and the 1Mbps EasyStarts are treated as up to 4Mbps Premier.

Easystart Question

Thanks Dave, surely the 1 meg easystart accounts should be treated as up to 8 meg as they are £39.99 and £44.99 and the orignal activation will be nearly offset by now considering that they haven't been sold in months?

edit: were the customers paying £27.99 only paying £24.99 after the price change or not?

Easystart Question

No, it isn't judged on the price of the account but on the budgeted usage of that account. EasyStart 1Mbps was budgeted the same as ADSL Home 1Mbps and therefore fits in alongside it.

Not sure what you mean about £27.99?

Easystart Question

I'm not going to push the point about easystart 1mb any further but I don't really think it's fair, but then I suppose when the 1MB easystart was around people knew you also did 2MB without free modem and connection at £39.99 so anyone who is still on it can't moan really.

What I mean about the £27.99 is that you said when easystart 512k was launched it cost £27.99 when the price was changed were those who were paying £27.99 only billed £24.99 from then on?
