Domain TX problems - urgent help needed!

Hi
Can any customer services please help ? - we arranged for a domain to come into our account on friday (IPSTAG changed to FORCE9 etc..). Our account says the domain is hosted by plusnet, but no DNS records have changed - everything still points to the old provider - can anyone help as this domain needs to be operational tomorrow! many thanks!!!! Domain TX problems - urgent help needed!

Hi,

Looking at the ticket you've raised, its currently with the hostmaster department, who don't actually work at the weekends.

However, it would appear that this is a similar issue to one reported yesterday, due to the fact that Nominet have just changed the format that they use for PGP emails regarding domain registrations and changes.

jon, thanks for the reply. does this mean this issue will get resolved tomorrow morning when they come in ? (seems odd for this dept to close at weekend when most domain transfers occur?). With the changes you point out, is the domain transfer process now different to detailed in plusnets help pages ? (i was told to just change the ipstag)

Also remember that it can take up to 48 hours for domain changes to propagate.

Domain TX problems - urgent help needed!

Hi,

The process is still the same, as far as customers are concerned. However, the automated back end process has changed a little, which appears to have caused this problem.

As for the hostmaster team not working at the weekend, most domain transfers are carried out automatically so don't require human input.
