Do "Uploads" count in usage figures??

Hi,

I went to work yesterday and left a Bittorrent file downloading (around 400Mb) the download had finished well before 4pm so it shouldn't have affected my peak time usage however I've just looked and I'm showing a few hundred Mb used peak time!! The only thing this could possibly be is the fact that I leave the torrents seeding once they have downloaded and I don't get home from work till 6pm so it would have been seeding for a couple of hours into the Peak time band before I stopped it. So it appears that uploads count for usage as well, not saying it shouldn't I just wasn't aware of it....

Yes uploads count also

if you use Azureus there is a plugin called speed scheduler that can limit upload/download speed plus setup time windows.

i use this to make sure stuff only happens out of peak time.

good luck

And if you use utorrent, there's a scheduler built in and you don't need to plug it in.
Ever so easy to use. Tongue
