Disconnects on WAG54G

Can anyone pls help as CS are just messing me about.
Last week, my connection started dropping very frequently (the DSL light flashing green and the internet light solid red). Made all the calls to CS , did the usual diagnostics, but nothing. Then I discovered that by making a call on my landline, the connection would come back!!Then the connection would drop off again after an indiscriminate time(varied from 1 minute to 6 hours).

Any ideas please?

Switch off uPNP in administrator options of your router

Fixed mine with same problem.

if your dsl light is flashing it is loosing sync with the exchange.

have you checked your filters - plugged the router into the master sockets without any phone and/or tried a different peice of hardware.

these are the usual checks if your happy its not at your side with hardware/wiring/filters raise a ticket and plusnet will get bt onto it

It is a sign of exchange / line problems so also go to the Exchange Checker and enter your phone number to see if there are any current issues with your local exchange
