Yes well done Cheesy thank you for the info and for the opportunity to stay away from evil tiscali  , although this should have been offered from the start.
Never mind thats in the past now.

Thanks again

Well done guys. I have also opted for ASAP on max.

One Q; is the LLU opt out for tiscali only or for tiscali and any future LLU moves (easynet?).

Thankyou for the update.
My entire problem with LLU came down to the fact that there was no migration out of it. Now that I know a migration option is coming very soon I have no problem with it, if I don't like it I can migrate out without it costing me an arm and a leg.

I would also like to know if the opt out affects anything but tiscali. Is it possible to opt out until such a time as the migration tool is working?

It's an LLU opt-out so will remove you from any potential LLU network transfer.

So after two weeks, it seems we are close to getting the implementation as stated in PlusNet Newsletter 3.

So, to be very clear. As I am a PAYG user. Will my account will be submitted for upgrade before those who have submitted a ticket to jump the queue based on billing dates?

Good news for PAYG customers!

Finally, good news for our PAYG customers that have eagerly been awaiting their speed regrade! A number of customers feel that because we were offering our PAYG service as an up to 8Mbps service, they should be treated as a high priority in our upgraded queue. We have listened to these concerns and have agreed that this should be the case, so we shall be upgrading these customers as a high priority.

Well done guys. My ticket was time-stamped 14:30:27 and I'm on PAYG.
Hopefully MaxDSL will give me a faster speed than my current 1mb which is limited due to line length. Cheesy

I hesitate to rain on the parade when this has so nearly sorted things out......but

the only thing that I object to with the announcement is the 14-day only opt out for LLU. As PlusNet acknowledge, a very major concern for many is the current inability to MAC out of LLU easily and this isn't going to change in the next 14 days but we are being asked to make a once and for all decision on LLU.

What I wanted to see was an opt out until such time as a migration process in and out of LLU, similar to the current BTw MAC process was in place, tested and working.

After then there would, I suspect, be no objection for many of us.

Can this be reconsidered?

Thanks, David

Equals Bad news for Premier customers who are paying more than PAYG customers.
Just when I think Plusnet can't make any dafter decisions than they already have, off they go again.
