DNS problems. AGAIN

It's not on Service Status because it should be working fine... We've not had any other reports of it... anyone else having a similar problem?

The graphing, here http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/dns_response_times.shtml?supporta=networkpdns ) seems to show responses fine.

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at signin.ebay.co.uk.

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Have you tried rebooting your router or reconnecting your modem?

Which DNS servers are you using / assigned?

according to my members area (plusnet)

Primary DNS Server 212.159.13.49
Secondary DNS Server 212.159.13.50
Optional tertiary DNS server 212.159.6.9

They are our DNS servers, but you need to check what servers your router, and your connection - are actually using.

You can typically do this in the Control Panel of the router, and the "Properties" option of the Network Connection in Windows.

DNS problems. AGAIN

Can't access www.trafficscotland.org, www.autosport.com, uk.weather.com, www.eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk amongst many that are not working.

www.bbc.co.uk is OK as is www.plus.net

Exactly the same symptoms as the previous DNS problem when various sites would load, whilst others failed.

Anyone else have the same problems we are having?

All night tonight we have been getting "page cannot be displayed" on IE.

The router has had a hard reset earlier and it seems to have made it worse.

Would this also affect as to why we couldnt access our router settings earlier? We kept getting IE searching the 192.168 etc on the default search instead of attempting to make a connection.
